The Saskatoon-based Balancing Work and Family Alliance (formerly The Saskatoon Family/Work Partnership) is a voluntary, multi-sectoral partnership that includes individuals and organizations from community, business and labour. The Alliance works to raise awareness, educate and encourage workplace culture and practice that make it less stressful to balance work and family responsibilities.
The Regina Work-Life Balance Network is a voluntary, multi-sectoral partnership dedicated to developing awareness and sparking changes that will bring about greater work-life balance to workplaces in the Regina area. The network aims to promote work cultures that support, protect and enhance work, life and family balance. Using a collaborative and community action approach, this network is focused on developing new business practices that help to create workplaces of choice. The Yorkton Balancing Work and Family
Committee was formed in July 2003. Members of the committee include
representatives from City of Yorkton, Cornerstone Credit Union, Good
Spirit REDA, Harvest Meats, Painted Hand Casino, Parkland Regional
College, Saskatchewan Aboriginal Women Circle Corp., SIGN, Sunrise
Health Region, Women Entrepreneurs of Canada, Yorkton Chamber of
Commerce, Yorkton Labour Council and community members
