Saskatchewan’s 12 days of Unpaid Family Care Leave Cited in Report for American Congress The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) completed a study titled: Women and low-skilled workers: efforts in other countries to help these workers enter and remain in the workforce, released in June 2007 for the American Congress. Dr. Martin, Executive Director, Work and Family Unit was consulted for this study both on Canada and Saskatchewan’s current labour practices and policies to help keep workers who face greater challenges in maintaining jobs and incomes.
